These terms describe the rules, obligations, and legal boundaries that apply when you use U-Mail.

Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using U-Mail, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These terms apply to individuals, teams, and organizations. If you use U-Mail on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Description of service
U-Mail is an email intelligence platform that provides unified inbox management, reply-priority workflows, thread organization, Daily Brief digests, analytics, classification, and related communication tools.
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue part of the service with reasonable notice.

Accounts and access
You must be at least 13 years old to use U-Mail. Users in the EU must be at least 16 or have verifiable parental consent.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account.
You may not share credentials with others or create accounts for the purpose of reselling access.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Acceptable use
You may not use U-Mail to send spam, unsolicited commercial email, or messages that violate CAN-SPAM, CASL, GDPR, or other applicable law.
You may not use U-Mail to harass, threaten, or harm others, or to distribute malware, phishing content, or fraudulent material.
You may not reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit the service in ways not intended by U-Mail.
You may not use automated tools to access the service at a volume that degrades performance for other users.

Your content
You retain all ownership rights to your emails and any content you create within U-Mail. We claim no ownership over your content.
By using the service you grant U-Mail a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely as necessary to provide the service to you.
You represent that you have the right to share any content you process through U-Mail and that doing so does not violate third-party rights.

Billing and payment
Paid plans are billed in advance on the billing period you selected. All prices are in USD and exclusive of applicable taxes.
You authorize U-Mail to charge your payment method on the applicable renewal date. If payment fails we notify you and provide a grace period before suspending access.
Refunds are available within 7 days of a charge if you have not substantially used the service during that period. Annual and quarterly plans are otherwise non-prorated unless required by law.

Intellectual property
The U-Mail name, logo, product design, and underlying technology are the intellectual property of U-Mail and its licensors. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use our trademarks.
Feedback, feature suggestions, or bug reports you submit may be used by U-Mail without compensation or attribution.

Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, U-Mail is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free service, or that transmitted data will be secure from interception by third parties.

Limitation of liability
U-Mail's aggregate liability for claims arising under these terms is limited to the amount you paid to U-Mail in the 12 months preceding the claim.
U-Mail is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, even if advised of their possibility.

Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Disputes are resolved by binding arbitration under the JAMS rules, except either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.

Changes to these terms
We notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes to these terms take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
We maintain a changelog of material updates to these terms at this URL.
